How Long Does a Repair Take?
When it comes to getting your mobile device back in working order, time matters. For most iPhone repairs, we can have your device fixed the same day, often in less than an hour! Android repairs are typically completed by the next day. iPad, Game Console, Tablet, and Laptop repairs may take a bit longer, but rest assured, we prioritize timely service. It’s uncommon for you to be without your device for more than a week.
If your waiting for a same-day fix, feel free to enjoy our comfortable lobby. On the other hand, if you’ve got a to-do list to kill, then we’ll have your device ready for pick-up in a few hours.
Do You Only Fix Phones?
Absolutely not! We’re your one-stop shop for all things tech. From iPhone and Android phone repairs to computer fixes, game console troubleshooting, Macbook, Laptop, Tablet and iPad refurbishments, data recovery, water damage solutions, HDMI port repairs, and even security camera and smart home installations – we’ve got you covered. Plus, we serve as a UPS access point for your convenience.
Do You Use OEM (Original Apple and Samsung) Parts?
Yes, we offer the choice! Whether you prefer original parts or quality third-party components, the decision is yours. Cracked Up Mobiles is both an Independent Repair Provider for Apple and an Independent Service Provider for Samsung, granting us the ability to source parts directly from these leading manufacturers.
Is This a UPS Store?
While we’re not a UPS store, we are a UPS access point. We accept and hold incoming and outgoing UPS packages, adding an extra layer of convenience for you.
Where Can I Park?
If you are already familiar with Downtown Columbia then you may already know that parking can sometimes be an overwhelming task. We want to make it easy for you at Cracked Up Mobile. You can find metered spots available right outside the shop. Meters downtown are monitored for payment Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm. Additionally, the Hitt St Parking Garage is about 100 feet from our store.
What Is Repair to Recover? What Do I Do If I Lost My Data?
If you’ve lost precious data, fear not! Our ‘Repair to Recover’ service aims to repair your device with the goal of retrieving your data. We’ll repair the phone, transfer the data, deconstruct and save the necessary parts, ensuring you’re only charged for labor.
Do You Have Accessories for My Device?
Absolutely! We offer phone cases for $20 each and have a range of screen protectors for most iPhones and Samsungs. Need a specific accessory? Just ask, and we can order it for you. Plus, enjoy $5 off a screen protector with any repair.
When Do I Pay for My Repair?
Payment is made after your repair is completed. However, for larger repairs requiring a comprehensive breakdown and thorough inspection (for example, game console repairs), we do request a $40 down payment. In addition, if you’re ordering an exspensive part and choose not to leave your phone with us, a $50 deposit is required.
What Is Your Diagnostic Fee?
Our diagnostic fee ranges from $25 to $40, depending on the device. Rest assured, this fee goes towards the eventual repair cost. In many cases, this fee is waived and we can figure out what kind of fix the phone requires with a quick assessment.
